Bradley T. Canter is the managing attorney of The Law Offices of Ronald S. Canter, LLC. Mr. Canter handles a wide range of civil litigation matters, including general civil practice, creditors’ defense, landlord-tenant representation, business disputes, and creditor representation in bankruptcy.

Mr. Canter defends financial institutions in state and federal court in matters involving consumer financial services litigation. He has advised clients on a variety of claims, including those involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), as well as other state and federal consumer protection laws.

Mr. Canter is a member of the State and Federal Bars in Maryland and Virginia. He has previously served at the Maryland State Chair for the Mid-Atlantic Collectors Association. Mr. Canter has also presented on various litigation topics for the National Creditors Bar Association. As part of the local Bar Association of Montgomery County, Mr. Canter participated in the Leadership Development Academy, a program designed to promote future leaders in the legal community. Mr. Canter has been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2020-2021.

Mr. Canter is a 2013 graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Mr. Canter served as Executive Technology Editor for the University of Maryland Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender and Class. He completed an ASPER Fellowship through his service as a semester law clerk for the Honorable John P. Miller on the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Maryland.
